How many Chore Charts have you tried as a parent? I can’t count how many…LOTS. Teaching the value of work to our children is vital in this “entitlement” generation. I was listening last year to Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University last year and he said something that made a lot of sense. {I’m not quoting him exactly.} He spoke of how in real life, we are paid for our efforts. He said children should also receive a ‘commission’ for their efforts in the home. Therefore, children should earn their money by helping out around the house.
