Peanut Butter Cup S’mores Bars

None of that had to do with peanut butter cup s’mores.  But these bars?  They combine my two ALL-TIME-FAVORITE baked goods and are the new *!*!*Best thing I’ve ever made!!*!*!  I’m never eating a s’more sans peanut butter cup or peanut butter cup sans s’more ever again.  Cross my heart hope to die.  Peanut butter cup s’mores are life. Primary Sharing Time May 2012

May 2012 LDS Primary Sharing Time Helps and Ideas
Monthly Theme: I Choose the Right When I Am Baptized and Confirmed a Member of the Church
Monthly Scripture: “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” Acts 2:38
http://sofiasprimaryideas.blogspot.com/2012/04/may-2012-lds-primary-sharing-time-helps.html

As I repent, I can be forgiven: 1st Week Sharing Time for May 2012  ENCOURAGE UNDERSTANDING (participating in an object lesson): Give each child a pebble.  Ask the children to put the pebble in their shoe, and invite them to stand and walk.  Ask the children how it feels to walk with a pebble in their shoe.  Ask how sin is like the pebble.  (It doesn’t feel good; it makes us unhappy).  Have them remove the pebble, and ask how repenting and receiving Heavenly Father’s forgiveness is like removing the pebble from our shoe.  Explain that because of Jesus Christ, we can repent and receive forgiveness of our sins.  Bear testimony that repentance is a wonderful blessing from Heavenly Father and that it brings us happiness. http://littleldsideas.blogspot.com/2012/04/as-i-repent-i-can-be-forgiven-1st-week.html

May Visiting Teaching Message {Conference Preserves}                                      Conference was so great last month!Sometimes while I am listening to conference, I hear things that I wish I could preserve in my mind forever.  …and then I look on other websites, and blogs, and on pinterest, and many of my favorite quotes from conference have been transformed by very talented people into beautiful artwork–preserved in a way–so that we can continue to remember them and learn from them and enjoy them.

Here is the May Visiting Teaching Handout.                                                  The message should come from one of the conference talks of your own choosing.  So I decided that since it was the month of May that  I would put “May” we let ourselves be Blessed with the talks from Conference. (Get it?!)http://pinkpolkadotcreations.com/2012/05/01/may-2012-visiting-teaching-handout/

Visiting Teaching Handouts – May 2012                                                                         For May, 2012, we get to choose our own Visiting Teaching message from the General Conference Session.  Click HERE to read the entire May 2012 Ensign which has all the talks.  Here are some handouts from a few of my favorite talks.

Political Neutrality – Whiteboard Animation

LDS Church Position on  Political Neutrality

Newsroom introduced a new way of talking about the issue of political neutrality today. The concept of political neutrality is not new for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon). An explanation of the Church’s position has been on MormonNewsroom.org for several years. But in an Internet age many people prefer a more immediate way to view and learn about topics and issues of the day than simply reading text.                                            http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=dnSnQNGMRWU
