Posted by jentatertots on December 15th, 2011 at 1:52 am

In the last week I had a birthday party AND a cookie exchange — both with a hot chocolate bar. A hot chocolate bar is something you can make for all kinds of winter occasions. It worked well for a kid birthday party, but it would also be a great idea for an adult party like a cookie exchange or even a caroling or ornament party!! All you need to do is change up the toppings!! Find out how to make the Ultimate Hot Chocolate Bar after the jump!  http://blogs.babble.com/the-new-home-ec/2011/12/15/make-a-holiday-hot-chocolate-bar/

Ho! Ho! Ho! Cheap Neighbor Gift Idea/printable

When I went to Walmart yesterday looking for cheap and easy neighbor gift idea for our new home, I found this snowflake covered clear pail in the Christmas aisle.  I instantly fell in love with it.  I’m sure you’ll be seeing a lot of ideas using this in the next week since there are so many possibilities for this container, but today I wanted to share a fun and easy idea if you can’t or don’t like to bake.

Elf Kisses Free Printable

After seeing all the cute Elf on a Shelf ideas around blog land lately, I’m wishing I had a fun elf to play with too! But I don’t have one and I’m not sure he’d have too many fun places to hide around the hotel (or maybe he’d actually have TOO many.)So instead, I decided write a fun poem and make you a free printable to have your elf give each child one morning. I hope you don’t mind. I do think it turned out pretty cute. Plus, they are super easy to make. So how can you beat that? Especially since I have 4 different versions for you to try. http://kimskandykreations.blogspot.com/2011/12/elf-kisses-free-printable.html
